I am a beginner in qulting. I made my quilts, but now I have to finish making seams that holds everything together. I try to find sewing patterns simple, but all my research has emerged are patterns to actual coverage. Does anybody know a good website that has sewing patterns that I can check?

Here is a link to quilting motifs: http://quiltersvillage.com/patternlisting/motifs/
You also can buy quilting templates at the fabric store. These are thin plastic sheets with the stitching design cut out so you can trace it with chalk.

You don’t say whether you’re intending to hand or machine quilt – the options are different for the two. I’m assuming ‘machine’. Many of the designs are copyrighted, which is part of why you’ve had trouble finding examples.
The first link below is an overview of the traditional quilt assembly process, including quilting ‘in the ditch’. The second is an overview of machine quilting. The third link is a description of the ‘quick-turn’ process. The fourth link is a number of free block-quilting patterns. The last is to another site with designs (you may be required to join – free – but the site is non-commercial and packed with goodies).
These will get you started. To find further info, you can do searches on ‘free-motion quilting’ and ‘continuous-line quilting’ to see more patterns. You can also search for ‘long-arm quilters’ and look at their sample pages and galleries. Good luck and enjoy!

the stitching patterns for quilting are called Motif’s and Stencil’s
you can sew them by hand or by sewing machine.
some beginning quilters just follow diagonal lines drawn in two directions across their quilt.
I hope this is useful for you.

Two very simple ways to quilt are stitch in the ditch, that in quilting where your blocks come together, or outlining the different motifs in your quilt. You can also do it very easily by tying your quilt. If your looking for more ideas for quilts, check out my site: http://appliquequiltdesigns.com
