This book is well written and informative full color examples. I was especially interested in learning the techniques of Bargello design. This chapter has been very good. The tip of the tail on the use of pads for feet flat to make straight seams really works! I also liked the chapter on wearable art quilt. In addition to the mechanics of the quilt the author covers a range of artistic elements of the quilt. Throughout the book are inserts entitled “Notice of color” that I found very useful in explaining the effects of different colored fabrics with each other. Rating: 5 / 5

This is an excellent book. It has lots of colors and stitching techniques and projects in the stool and pillowcases in the laundry. The descriptions are clear and easy to follow. Photos of work of many other artists from the various quilt offers great ideas to Advanced Quilters and inspiration for beginners. I have new ideas every time I read it. Rating: 5 / 5
